Fashion designer Roberto Verino has been responsible for designing the label for the first day of the harvest of the Castillo de Canena olive oil company of Jaén. The ninth edition of this limited production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the product of an early harvest, will be exported to dozens of countries in half-liter bottles.
The concept of the First Day Harvest is actually a tribute to the hard work, determination, tenacity and concerns of the farmers after a year of suffering, sacrifice, climatic adversities and hope… They have finally managed to see the end results, in our case, of the first gleaming stream of juice of the year, of an intense emerald green color and a highly fruity aroma and flavor.
This is not the first time that a public figure has been asked to design the labels for this olive oil cooperative, for in previous editions, such famous personalities as Pau Gasol, Alejandro Sanz and Fernando Alonso were commissioned to design them.
Castillo de Canena’s goal is to create an attractive design for its labels in order to have an important impact on the Latin American and United States markets. For this reason, they have entrusted their new designs to Roberto Verino.
